Since its introduction in 2005, it has become abundantly clear that the Genius sorter is vastly superior to the MIRA, its well-known predecessor. New cameras, a state-of-the-art hardware and software platform, different illumination options, a reliable reject system, everything adapted to your specific needs, up to the possible inclusion of the laser box. With all these features, the Genius will certainly bring out the best in your product.

The Genius offers different inspection technologies and inspection zones to provide a higher detection efficiency: high resolution cameras (colour or black-and-white), lasers and fluo-lasers can be combined with different kinds of illumination like LED, infrared or UV. Products are inspected from all sides (full surround view), on or off belt.
A few milliseconds after detection, the defects will be removed by powerful air guns, positioned at the end of the conveyor belt. Thanks to their speed and precision, less good product is wasted.
Of course the Genius is equipped with a user-friendly touchscreen, and thanks to its new operating system, it can be monitored from anywhere in the world.

But there is more! So far the Genius could sort on colour, structure and fluorescence … but our engineers felt that something was still missing, and that it would be even more complete if a shape sorter could be integrated as well! So they simply adapted the shape recognition module for the Genius! Deformed carrots, gherkins, green beans and many other products can now be detected and rejected.

However, the real trump card of this sorting machine is its flexibility. The Genius is totally modular, so that it can be tailored to meet your requirements, taking into account the characteristics of your specific products and defects. All in accordance with your production capacities and your budget, thanks to the different inspection widths (640, 1200, and 1600) that are available. It’s simply the BEST!
