Working
principle
The Ixus x-ray sorter provides you with the safest solution for
food products before they reach the consumer. The Ixus scans products
whatever the packaging (aluminum, plastic, paper, etc.) in order
to detect defects which could be potentially dangerous for the consumer.
Metal wire, pits, glass, stones, high density plastic, rubber or
bones are detected by absorbing more x-rays than fruit, vegetables,
lasagnas, etc., creating a clear contrast between the good product
and the foreign body. The Ixus detects all foreign materials or
missing items and is even able to detect metal in aluminum tray
containers. Of course, the Ixus is developed with low power generators
especially for the food industry. This machine can either be used
as complementary sorting equipment or as a standalone machine. The
Ixus sorter is user friendly, easy to integrate and has a high resolution
vision system.
