The new POM/DYN length analyzer is going to change the way you carry out your Statistical Quality Control. Its purpose is to generate length distributions from samples and it can either be positioned in the laboratory or on-line as a by-pass system.

It is possible to measure 1 kg (2 lbs) in one minute, but that is not all. Its accuracy and ease of use is unrivalled by any other system on the market. Due to sophisticated shape recognition software the system will also measure curved products (e.g. French fries).

The POM/DYN consists of an infeed section and a measurement section. The infeed part supplies the products randomly onto a conveyor belt. There is no need for the products to be directed lengthwise, because the state of the art image processing of the vision system can perform its measurements anyway. The POM/DYN can also relate the measurement results to adjustable length specifications.
